Charlotte is a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience working across private practice and public-sector settings. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science (Family Studies), a Doctoral degree in Forensic Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. Charlotte is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS), a Fellow of the APS College of Forensic Psychologists, and a Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor.

Charlotte works with children, adolescents and adults experiencing a broad range of psychological and emotional difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional and behavioural dysregulation, self-harm and suicide risk, substance misuse, grief and loss, bullying, difficulties with self-esteem and confidence, and complex family and interpersonal concerns.

Charlotte provides comprehensive psychological assessment, formulation, treatment planning and individualised psychological therapy. Her approach is collaborative, evidence-based and responsive to each client’s circumstances, developmental needs and treatment goals.

Charlotte has particular experience working with trauma and complex presentations, integrating therapeutic approaches according to the individual’s clinical needs.

Forensic Psychology & Family Law

Alongside her clinical practice, Charlotte has extensive experience in forensic psychological assessment and medico-legal work. Her areas of expertise include assessment relating to psychosexual risk, violence risk, parenting and protective capacity, and complex family-related matters.

Her forensic work encompasses specialist psychological assessment, formulation, clinical and forensic report writing, liaison with legal and other professionals, and the provision of professional testimony.

Charlotte has prepared psychological reports for Australian Courts in relation to family and children’s matters and has experience providing reportable counselling and psychological services in matters involving complex family circumstances and legal proceedings.

Culturally Responsive Practice

Having worked and travelled across different parts of Australia, Charlotte has considerable experience working with people from diverse ciltural and religious backgrounds. She recognises that an individual’s family, culture, community and beliefs can be central to understanding their experiences and provides psychological services in a respectful, culturally responsive and individualised manner.
